You will be picked up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam at 11:00 a.m. and driven to Mikumi National Park, which is located near Udzungwa Mount. Once there, you will be joined by your guide and rangers. Start your journey into the park and make your way through the verdant tropical rainforest, which is home to a wide variety of plants and animals. You may see large animals like elephants, buffalo, hippopotamuses, leopards, red colobus monkeys, and birds.
Take a morning hike to discover new paths or a particular section of the park. You can explore the breathtaking waterfalls there and have a good chance of swimming while taking in the park's amazing views. Following a full day of hiking, you will leave, descend, and return to Dar es Salaam by car.
