At 8:30 am, pick up your professional driver-guide from your Arusha town hotel. Then, pack a picnic lunch and head to Lake Manyara Park for a game drive that lasts until the afternoon. Following lunch, an armed ranger leads us on a guided walk through the park. An amazing diversion from game drives is a walking safari. We make our way to your lodge later in the evening to have an early dinner.
We depart the lodge at around 20:00 pm after dinner and go on a night game drive that lasts about three hours. In order to find nocturnal creatures and sounds, your knowledgeable guide will lead you through the park's various habitats. We head back to your lodge for the night at 22:30 pm.
Following an early breakfast, you will begin a full-day game drive through the Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Conservation Area, ending with a picnic lunch on your way to Lake Victoria. Drive into the surrounding hills in the evening to observe the Sukuma people's rural areas. As you travel through numerous villages, you will come across farms growing sorghum, cassava, ground nuts, cotton, and other crops. Additionally, there will be herds of cattle strewn about.
The Sukuma people are well-known for their farming and large herds of cattle. They have lived in this region for centuries and lead a simple life. Take a walk to the summit of a small kopje and see the nearby school.
After breakfast, take a traditional canoe trip to a fishing village. The scene along the lakeshore, where African-style women work in the fields and men fish, is typical of the area where fishermen will paddle the canoes. Fishermen often sing traditional songs while paddling, transporting listeners to a bygone era as they sing about life, home, and cattle.
The white lateen sails of fishing dhows or boats coming back from a night of fishing far out on the lake are visible in the distance. Visit a few villages near Lake Victoria during the afternoon. Traveling to one of the Sukuma villages to see a traditional healer is another highlight of the day. Late in the afternoon, you will drive back to the lakeshore at your Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Early You will take stunning pictures during a game drive in Serengeti National Park, which you will drive to in the morning. You will go on another Serengeti game drive in the afternoon until dusk. You can then change before dinner and your overnight stay.
More than 1,300,000 wildebeest, 250,000 Thomson's gazelle, 200,000 zebra, 70,000 Impala, 50,000 Topi, 30,000 Grant's gazelle, 10,000 Eland, numerous antelope, and hundreds of predators are among the Serengeti's large herbivore species, according to wildlife statistics. Spending time at the hippo pool allows us to observe these magnificent creatures relaxing in the refreshing water while coexisting peacefully with the crocodiles. During the migration, we can see a large pride of lions, occasionally encircled by zebras and other times by wildebeest.
