    Day 1: Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport:

    Day 2:Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut:

    Day 3: Mandara Hut–Horombo Hut

    Day 4: Horombo Hut (ACCLIMATIZATION DAY)

    These days offer an excellent opportunity to gradually adjust to the altitude; you will walk around the hut multiple times. Our team guides will lead you to the base of Mawenzi Peak via the most well-known walk, which is what most people choose to do to acclimate. The walk, which reaches an elevation of 4,600 meters, takes four to five hours round-trip. As a result, you will spend the night and dinner back at Horombo Hut.

    Day 5 :Horombo Hut to Kibo Hut

After about two hours, you’ll reach Hans Meyer’s Cave, where the first successful ascent took place in 1889. The steepest section follows, and after three hours, you’ll reach Johanna’s Notch and then Gillman’s Point (5685 m) just in time for dawn.
