0730hrs: You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel, Nairobi airport, or residence, and begin your exciting safari adventure. Start your journey towards the Masai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya’s premier wildlife destination, famous for its stunning landscapes and rich biodiversity. Masai MaraTake a game drive in the Masai Mara early in the morning to begin your day and take in the stunning scenery and fauna. Later, leave the Mara and drive through the border town of Isebania, Kenya, to Tanzania's Lake Victoria. Once you have cleared customs and immigration, you will meet your driver guide and Tanzanian car at the border and proceed to the southeast bay of Lake Victoria. You can unwind by the serene shores of this historically significant lake, take in the cool breeze, and, if you have time, visit the busy Bunda Market nearby after arriving at your lodge in the late afternoon.
Following breakfast, take a local guide to a nearby fishing village where you can discover the local way of life, traditional fishing methods, and the process of selling fresh fish. After that, drive into the Serengeti, which is a smaller extension of the Serengeti and shares the same ecosystem as the Masai Mara Game Reserve. This location is ideal for game viewing, and you will have the opportunity to take a quick afternoon game drive while traveling through the breathtaking scenery, where you will be able to spot wildlife.
