5:00 AM: Nairobi departure Your thrilling day trip to Amboseli from Nairobi starts early when we pick you up from your hotel or another preferred location. We will embark on a day of adventure by traveling the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway from Nairobi. Enjoy the early morning light filling the expansive fields surrounding you as the sun rises, and look for nearby homesteads and Maasai herders wearing their characteristic, vibrant shuka garments.
Travel to Amboseli National Park at 7:00 AM. As we continue our drive, the iconic silhouette of Mt. Kilimanjaro will slowly emerge in the distance. As we travel toward Amboseli National Park, the knowledgeable guides from Kizza Adventures will offer enlightening commentary on the scenery and fauna. The scenery will shift as you travel, and you will be mesmerized by the developing picture of this magnificent mountain, which provides the ideal setting for your first encounter with African fauna.
First Game Drive at 8:30 AM. When we get to Amboseli, we'll take you on an exhilarating game drive where you can see herds of elephants marching across the plains under the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro. As we look for a range of wildlife, your Kizza Adventures guide will skillfully navigate the park's varied ecosystems, which include open plains, grasslands, and marshes. Watch out for gazelles, buffalo, zebras, lions, cheetahs, and of course, more elephants.
Breakfast at any Lodge at 9:30 AM We'll go to either Ol Tukai Lodge, Amboseli Sopa Lodge, for a well-earned breakfast following an exhilarating game drive. The lodge provides breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro and is tucked away in the center of Amboseli. As you get ready for additional wildlife sightings, savor a delectable breakfast in a peaceful setting while admiring the park's natural beauty. 10:30 AM: Examining the Hills and Marshes in the Park After breakfast, we'll set out to discover the hills, plains, and marshes of Amboseli, each of which presents a different chance to see wildlife. There is always something to see on these diverse terrains, whether it be lions, gazelles, buffalo, or cheetahs. The greatest locations for seeing animals in their natural habitat will be shown to you by your Kizza Adventures guide.
Lunch at Amboseli Sofa Lodge at 1:30 PM. It's time to unwind and savor a leisurely lunch at the lovely Amboseli Sofa Lodge, which provides views of the park and the breathtaking Mount Kilimanjaro. Here, you can enjoy a delectable meal while taking in the park's natural atmosphere. Spend some time relaxing and thinking back on the events of the morning. Final Game Drive at 3:00 PM We'll go on one final game drive after lunch. This is an additional opportunity to see more wildlife in its natural habitat, possibly going back to some of the locations we previously visited or looking for new animal sightings. There are many chances to get amazing up-close views of the vast Amboseli plains.
Depart for Nairobi at 4:30 PM. We will start our journey back to Nairobi as our day trip to Amboseli from Nairobi comes to an end.
