Your 15-day Kenya Tanzania safari begins as you arrive at the airport, where our representative will greet you and transfer you to a comfortable city hotel in Nairobi. Relax and prepare for an exciting journey ahead.
After breakfast, our company driver will pick you up and transfer you to Wilson Airport for a scenic flight to Samburu National Reserve, located in northern Kenya. As you fly over the lush highlands, you’ll witness Kenya’s vibrant tea and coffee plantations from above.
Upon landing at Samburu Airstrip, your safari guide will welcome you and take you on a game drive en route to your lodge, where you’ll arrive in time for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on an exhilarating safari to explore the park’s unique wildlife. Samburu National Reserve is home to rare species, including Grevy’s zebras, Somali ostriches, reticulated giraffes, gerenuks, and oryx. You’ll also gain insight into the fascinating Samburu people, often called the butterfly people due to their colorful attire and rich culture.

Your departure time from Amboseli National Park will be coordinated with your driver-guide based on your flight schedule. If you have a later flight, we can arrange a visit to the Giraffe Center, home to the endangered Rothschild giraffes, or the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, where you can watch rescued baby elephants during their feeding and mud baths from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
