You will be collected in the morning from your hotel, the airport, or a designated spot in Dar es Salaam, and you will start the approximately 4.5-hour drive to Selous Game Reserve via Kisarawe Road. After you get there, you will go on a boat safari in the afternoon, where you can see crocodiles, hippos, and other primates. Usually leaving the lodge at 3:30 pm, the boat ride returns by 6:30 pm. You will then return to the lodge for dinner and spend the night there.
You will have a picnic lunch and go on a full-day game drive after breakfast. The game drives at Selous Game Reserve in the morning and afternoon will be enjoyable. You will travel through several parts of the park today to see additional wildlife, including Cape buffalos, wildebeest, elands, giraffes, elephants, lions, hippopotamus, Nile crocodiles, and wild dogs along the Rufiji River's banks. In the afternoon, you will eat lunch before continuing with the game drive.

Following breakfast and a picnic, you will go to Kilwa Kisiwani by car. This fishing village, which was inhabited by Arabs a millennium ago, is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site because of its impact on the development of Swahili culture. Under the moonlight, they had licentious parties, minted gold, and traded spices, jewels, and slaves. They also established the island state of Kilwa Kisiwani and Songo Mnara, a Swahili stone town that was established in the early 1800s on a nearby little island. Archaeologists have been able to study early Swahili dwellings within a particular time period because of its relatively limited history in comparison to Kilwa Kisiwani, its more famed neighbor.
You will depart Kilwa and head to Dar es Salaam city after breakfast and a picnic lunch. You will be dropped off at your hotel, the airport, or the harbor after arriving in the late afternoon.
