After pickup from your hotel in Moshi/Arusha, embark on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, passing through Arusha. The journey takes about 4-5 hours, offering time to relax and bond with your Kizza adventures guide. Upon arrival, enjoy a 4-5 hour game drive within the park, renowned for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Other wildlife such as giraffes, antelopes, lions, and cheetahs may also be spotted, though sightings are not guaranteed. Lunch will be served during the day. A word of caution: although vervet monkeys may seem playful, they are mischievous, particularly around food, so be mindful of your snacks. At around 4:00 pm, we depart for Haven Nature Safari Camp to enjoy dinner and your first night of the adventure.

Start Day 2 early, packing up and heading to the Serengeti National Park around 7:00 am. Along the way, you will pass a traditional Maasai Boma, providing insight into the Maasai community's culture.
Arriving at Serengeti by noon, the rest of the day is dedicated to exploring the park’s famous endless plains. Here, you might witness the spectacular Great Migration, one of the world’s most remarkable wildlife phenomena. After your game drive, relax at your tented camp or lodge for the night.

Embark on a full-day game drive in the Serengeti, beginning with an early morning safari. The vast savannah offers incredible wildlife encounters throughout the year. After the morning game drive, enjoy a leisurely lunch and downtime at the camp. Later in the afternoon, head out for another exciting game drive, followed by dinner. As night falls, immerse yourself in the sounds of the wild and watch the African sky shift colors.
After breakfast, begin your game viewing in the Serengeti, a massive park covering 1,400 km², almost the size of Northern Ireland. During the drive, you will explore the heart of Serengeti, encountering a variety of wildlife, especially big cats like lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Afterward, you will head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for dinner and your overnight stay. Be sure to pack warm clothes as the highlands can be chilly and windy.

Another early morning start as we travel to Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders. The crater, home to over 25,000 animals, including the Big 5, offers unparalleled wildlife viewing. The diverse species include wildebeest, zebras, elephants, lions, and rhinos. The crater’s depth is 610 meters, and it covers 260 square kilometers. Capture incredible memories with your camera as you witness these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. Although overnight stays are not permitted inside the crater, you will camp near the rim, where it’s quite cold, so pack appropriately for the altitude (7,500 feet).

On the final day, we visit the lesser-known but beautiful Lake Manyara National Park, a hidden gem of groundwater forests fed by underground springs. This park teems with elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and some of the largest baboon troops in Africa. It’s also famous for its birdlife, home to more than 100 species. Keep an eye out for lions, who are often spotted lounging in the trees here. After a 5-hour game drive in the park, you will head back to Moshi/Airport, with an approximate 4-hour drive ahead of us.
