    Day 1:Arrival in Tanzania

  • Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our expert guides will be there to welcome you and transfer you to your hotel. Get settled in and prepare for your 8-day Machame route hiking and trekking adventure on Mount Kilimanjaro.

  • Day 2:Machame Gate to Machame Camp


    After breakfast, we will drive to Machame Gate where our expert guided 8-day Machame route Trekking and Hiking on Mount Kilimanjaro begins. The hike to Machame Camp (9,900ft/3,018m) will take approximately 5-7 hours, where we will set up the camp for the night. This is just the beginning of your ultimate Kilimanjaro adventure with us.

  • Day 3: Machame Camp to Shira Camp


    We'll wake up early and have breakfast before starting our hike to Shira Camp (12,600ft/3,840m). As we trek, we'll take in the stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro and it's surroundings. This will be a 6-8 hour trek with our expert guides, but the reward of reaching Shira Camp in will be worth it!

  • Day 4: Shira Camp to Lava Tower to Barranco Camp


    After breakfast, we'll continue our ascent through the Alpine desert to Lava Tower (15,190ft/4,630m). Here, we will take a short break before descending to Barranco Camp (12,950ft/3,950m) for the night. This part of the trek is challenging but also rewarding, giving you a unique and unforgettable experience of Hiking and trekking on Mount Kilimanjaro.

  • Day 5: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp


    We'll start the day with breakfast before tackling the Barranco wall, a steep climb that will test your strength and endurance. Once we reach the top, we'll take a break and then continue on to Karanga Camp (13,100ft/3,990m) where we will set up for the night.

  • Day 6:Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp


    We will start our day with a short but steep climb to Barafu Camp (15,330ft/4,670m). We will set up camp at Barafu Camp and rest for the night, preparing for the final push to the summit.

  • Day 7: Barafu Camp to Summit (Uhuru Peak) to Mweka Camp


    Our summit day on the mountain begins with a steep climb to Barafu Camp, our launchpad for the summit attempt. We rest here for a few hours before starting our ascent to Uhuru Peak (19,341ft/5,895m) . The climb is grueling but rewarding, as we watch the sunrise over the horizon and reach the summit in time to take photos and savor the moment. We then descend back to Barafu Camp for a brief rest and continue down to Mweka Camp (10,000ft/3,048m), our final campsite on the mountain.

  • Day 8: Mweka Camp to Moshi


    After breakfast, you will descend through the lush rainforest to Mweka Gate (5,400ft/1,640m) , where you will receive your summit certificates. You will then be driven back to your hotel in Moshi for celebratory dinner and a well deserved rest.
  • Departure Transfer to the Kilimanjaro Airport.
