Mahale Mountains National Park, situated on the picturesque shores of Lake Tanganyika in western Tanzania, is well-known for its sizable chimpanzee population. The park area stretches to Lake Tanganyika's sandy beaches with forested slopes. After breakfast in Kigoma, head to the airport to catch a scheduled flight back to Arusha or Dar es Salaam.
