Today the vehicle targets the quieter sectors — the western corridor, the Moru Kopjes or the southern plains — rather than repeating yesterday's circuit.

Mid-morning — specialist wildlife watching: With two days of context the guide can focus on specific behaviour — cheetah hunts on the short grass, a leopard in a sausage-tree fig or a lion pride's territory boundaries. Three Serengeti days reward patience and observation over distance.

Lunch — deep-bush picnic: A picnic in a sector the shorter itineraries never reach. The isolation is the point — fewer vehicles, more wildlife, cleaner sound.
