Fish the Lines at Dawn, the Rocks at Noon
Seronera rewards a two-beat day: walk the river lines in your head before sunrise — cats drink and cross early — then let the midday belong to the kopjes, where lions sleep off the night in plain view on the rocks. Scan each kopje twice from different angles; a tail-tip or an ear is often all that shows. When the afternoon cools, drop back to the water. The valley is small enough to work twice in a day and big enough to surprise you on the second pass.

Vehicle Bean Bags

Dust is the #1 enemy of camera equipment. Bring a camera dust blower, lens cleaning cloths, and a rain cover (dust cover). Zip-lock bags for memory cards and batteries. Avoid changing lenses in open air when possible.
