Founded in 2016 in Moshi by local tourism experts, Kizza Adventures was born from a love for Tanzania's wild beauty and a desire to share it responsibly. What started as a small guiding outfit is now a multi-country tour operator with teams across Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, and Congo. Walk With Hunters
The Datoga are Tanzania's master metalworkers — a Nilotic people who have forged iron and brass for countless generations. At their remote homesteads, raw scrap metal is transformed into arrowheads, spear tips, bangles and rings using nothing but handmade goat-skin bellows, stone hammers, and charcoal fires. Women create some of Tanzania's most exquisite beadwork, where every colour and pattern tells a story of clan identity, age, and status. Try pumping the bellows, hammering red-hot metal, or threading beads under the guidance of artisans whose techniques date back centuries. The Datoga are reserved but deeply warm once engaged, and the pride they take in their craftsmanship is profoundly moving.

For the traveller who wants more than a visit, our Full Immersion day places you inside a Tanzanian village family for a complete cultural exchange. Wake with the roosters and join women fetching water from the well — a daily ritual as social as it is practical. Grind maize flour for ugali, prepare nyama choma over crackling coals, and learn the Swahili names for every ingredient. Help check the livestock, repair a roof, or simply sit in the shade and talk about life. As dusk falls, gather around the fire for songs, stories, and perhaps a taste of home-brewed mbege millet beer. Sleep in a traditional hut under a blanket of stars, and wake to children's laughter.
